Mccullouch Pro Mac 700 Manual

Hi I am new to this forum so I am unsure whats going to happen. But if someone does help me than thanks in advance.https://www.outdoorking.com/forum/images/icons/default/wink.gif
I have recently acquired a almost mint condition pro mac 700. electronic ignition new 20 inch bar and chain. very nice
model 60011602
ser 11-061202
It has 2 problems which i am asking assistance with.
1. original carb sdc 44a will not idle. it lets the saw run with acceleration but as soon as you let the acc go it just dies.tried adjusting all the screws. Starts very easy. changed fuels new filter already. new spark plug. stripped carby down and aeresol carby cleaned it. meter lever is set gaskets and screws seem new like the saw. I havn't touched the welsh plugs or pressure tested it as I am just a backyarder with no specialty tools or special knowledge. I can't clean out the small idle jets either or know if I should try? or what should you clean them out with?
I pulled out the carb of my PM 55 and fixed it to the 700 and it starts and runs like a dream. Problem solved you may say. No I want my pm55 carb back and the 55 carb does not have the long mixture screws which go thru the casing for external adjustment. leaving a hole for crapp to fly into carb.
will it be better to just find another carby for my 700 or should I fix this one. The bloody thing looks brand new. It just won't idle
Problem 2. Although the saw has been kept in pristine condition away from any trees. the previous owner has managed to lose the brake bits which work in the handle.?? i don't know how unless he was trying to cut his way out of a cardboard box. The bits missing are the brake band and the big spring and the 3 pins and washer and the black latch. I think it is all part of a brake repair kit. I have managed to source a brake repair kit for this saw. The bit I don't have though which has been replaced by a bolt in one of the pictures is P/n 214366 pin which fixes the brake band to the brake handle. I guess it is the pin which pulls the band tight onto the sprocket bell. I am worried i will have to find a whole new handle just for this bloody pin. which i don't want to do as this handle is brand new. sort of.
does anyone know what year this saw was made by the mod and ser no,s
does anyone do great carb fixups in brisbane
does anyone have a sdc 44a carb they don't want anymore?
If there are any mcculloch lovers out there please feel free to give me there 2 cents
I also have a 1974 super pro 81 which i think is the toughest looking saw around.
